Whiley - Three time Winner of the NADeFA Hard Antler Competition
Whiley, our foundation sire, won first place in the NADeFA hard antler competition in 2000, 2001, and 2002. One of his sons took 1st place in WOW's 2006 antler competition. |
Farm Genetics"The Whiley Story"  Clyde
The foundation sire of our herd was Whiley. His sire was Clyde from Jim Suderlan in North Dakota. His Mother was Spice from the Lloyd Shofner Herd. Whiley was a long beamed massive typical. His sheds from 1999, 2000 and 2001 all won 1st place honors in the NaDeFa Annual Hard Antler Competition. The only Buck to have ever won 3 first place ribbons. Whiley was a very calm buck and was 11 years old when we lost him in 2004 to fighting with the other bucks. Whiley's sons and grandsons have been carrying on his legacy, winning many Midwest antler competitions. In 2008, one of Whiley's grandsons, Stalker, won 1st place honors at the NADeFA Hard Antler Competition in the Yearling Typical category! We feel very fortunate to have had Whiley on our farm. With him as our foundation, we will be producing some of the best typical bucks in the world.
