"The Whiley Story"

The Whiley StoryThe foundation sire of our herd was Whiley. His sire was Clyde from Jim Suderlan in North Dakota. His Mother was Spice from the Llyod Shofner Herd.

Whiley was a long beamed massive typical. His sheds from 1999, 2000 and 2001 all won 1st place honors in the NaDeFa Annual Hard Antler Compitition. The only Buck to have ever won 3 first place ribbons. Whiley was a very calm buck and was 11 years old when we lost him to fighting with the other bucks.

Our does came from the Carlson and Ritter Herds in MN. We have sold 10 bucks out of our original does and 5 have scored over 200 at 4 years old. (The smallest of those scored 162.) We have been artifically breeding these bucks' sisters and have some great up and coming bucks. We are even more excited at what these does will be able to produce.

Side notes
Ron and Mary Pierce's Tonto's Grandmother is Whileys sister.
Tonto scored 177 as a yearling. Estimated at 220 at 2 years old.
